Member app
Delete your account
You do it yourself, and it happens immediately. Nobody has to approve it.
The ASCEND member app is not out yet. It is being built, so there is no app account to delete yet. When it launches you will be able to delete yours from inside the app or here in your browser, without asking anyone. In the meantime you can still ask us to remove anything we already hold about you.
1. In the app
When the app launches, open the ASCEND app and go to Settings → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. Once you do, your account and the data listed below are deleted.
2. In a browser, without the app
This will be a page you can sign in to and delete your account from, without installing anything. It goes live with the app.
What gets deleted
Everything the app holds about you:
- Your first name and surname, and the email you sign in with
- Which coach you are assigned to, and their comments on your sessions
- Your workouts, everything you logged against them, your notes, and whether you marked them done
- Anything imported from a watch or fitness app, if you connected one
Your sign-in email exists in two places — with the provider you sign in through, and in your member record. Both go. Nothing is kept back, and the account is deleted rather than switched off. Section 12 of the privacy notice lists it all in full.
Deleting your app account does not on its own end your membership of the club — those are two different things. To end the membership as well, speak to the front desk or see the section on ending a membership in the terms.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@ascend-performance-ph.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you. We will check it is really you first, because otherwise anyone could delete anyone’s by typing their email address.
If you do nothing
App data is deleted 90 days after a membership ends, whether or not anybody asks. The full detail is in the privacy notice.
